HIV singkatan dari Human Immunodeficiency Virus,HIV adalah virus penyebab AIDS.

Ø HIV terdapat didalam dalam cairan tubuh sesorang yang telah terinfeksi seperti didalam darah, air mani atau cairan vagina.

Ø Sebelum HIV berubah menjadi AIDS, penderitanya akan tampak ssehat antara 5 smpai 10 tahun.

Ø Walaupun tampak sehat, mereka dapat menularkan HIV pada orang lain melalui hubungan seks yang tidak aman, tranfusi atau pemakaian jarum suntik sera bergantian.

SIAPA BISA TERTULAR HIV??????

* Siapapun bisa tertular HIV , jika perilakunya berisiko
* Penampilan luar tidak menjamin bebas HIV
* Orang dengan HIV positif sering terlihat sehat dan merasa sehat
* Jika belum melakukan tes HIV , orang dengan HIV positif tidak tahu bahwa dirinya sudah tertular HIV dan dapat menularkan HIV kepada orang lain
* Tes HIV adalah satu-satunya cara untuk mendapatkan kepastian tertular HIV atau tidak.
